Your answers stay in your browser. Nothing here is sold or advertised against.
The tool saves your answers in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us.
No cookies. No analytics. No advertising trackers.
Three things are written to your browser's local storage, and nowhere else.
Clearing your browser data removes all of it. We cannot see it and we cannot recover it.
On the reading page, the block you paste is read inside your browser. Only the resulting numbers are saved.
The sign in button on this site is for the site owner only. It stores nothing about you.
Accounts for readers are coming. They are optional, and every page works without one.
This section describes the account feature. Until it ships, nothing in it applies.
Personal information collected. Your email address, plus the answers listed above once they are linked to your account.
If you choose Google sign in, we also receive the account identifier Google returns.
Where it is held. A Postgres database hosted by Supabase in the Tokyo region, ap-northeast-1. Each row is readable only by the account that owns it.
Who processes it for us. Supabase, for hosting and sign in. Google, only if you choose Google sign in.
Resend, to deliver your sign in code. Vercel, to serve these pages.
Each of them acts on our instructions and for no other purpose.
No one else receives it. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with any third party for that party's own purposes.
Security. Access is limited to the account owner and to Paul Gerber. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
Sign in uses Google or a one time code, so there is no password for us to lose.
Deleting your account. Deleting the account deletes every row attached to it. Your browser copy is separate, and clearing your browser removes that.
So your results follow you from one device to the next.
And so we can publish group averages, such as the typical dial setting people report.
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, we must state our purpose of use. It is stated here, and it applies from the day your information is collected.
We use personal information collected through this site only for the following purposes.
We do not use it for advertising, for profiling individuals, or for training any AI model.
If we ever need a purpose outside this list, we will post it here first. Where the law requires consent, we will ask you.
Group numbers only. We publish nothing drawn from fewer than twenty people.
Anything you typed yourself is never counted and never published.
A published average is a count or a mean taken across many people. It is statistical information, and it is no longer information about any individual.
Our rules, which we apply before anything is published.
The published result carries no name, no email address and no account identifier. It cannot be traced back to you.
Material from a paid engagement never enters this website or its database.
That work is governed by your contract and by the promise on the consulting page.
This page covers the website only. Documents, transcripts and files you send during a paid engagement travel by a separate private route and are never loaded here.
Your engagement material is never used to produce any statistic on this site, and never appears in any published figure.
Where this page and your engagement terms differ, your engagement terms win.
Ask what is held, correct it, or have it deleted. We reply in English or Japanese.
